Xue Song was born in Anhui Province, China in 1965, but now resides in Shanghai, where he works as a professional painter. He uses a number of media in her artworks, thus regardless of the number of factors contained in his paintings, his treatment and technique made each painting appear more than just a painting. It would appear that he would appear that the creative inspiration came first, then prepared his material and worked on the piece. There is a gap between process and the actual painting work.
